50s & 60s Cover Bands needed. Hello everyone e, along with a couple of family members, I organise an annual charity event with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK..
And this year we would like to have a 50s & 60s themed night, but we need a couple of bands.
Ideally what we would like is a 50s Rock n Roll band, and a good 60s cover band, doing the Merseybeat kind of stuff. And ideally offer their services free of charge, I know its a tall order, but, in the past two years thats what bands have done for us, which we are very grateful for.
So, if you are interested please send me a gig guide of your up and coming gigs so we can come along and meet you and discuss it.
As yet we have no set date until we get the bands, but, it will be in October, and will be held at the Harehills Labour Club in Leeds, who every year have allowed us the room and staff, free of charge on a Wednesday evening.
